ZAMBEZI RIVER

REQUEST FOR
CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR THE SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF TURBINE WATER
FLOW METERING EQUIPMENT AT KARIBA NORTH BANK AND KARIBA SOUTH BANK POWER
STATIONS AT KARIBA DAM.
Sealed tenders are invited for the supply
and installation of turbine water flow metering equipment at Kariba
North Bank and Kariba South Bank Power Stations respectively located at
Kariba Dam. Bidders wishing to visit the sites can do so at their own
expense to familiarise themselves with the existing conditions at the
power stations. The authority will arrange for the necessary clearance
for the visit to the sites.
Tender documents can be obtained from the
office of the Director (Water Resources and Environmental
Management) on 6th floor , Kariba House, Lusaka and from
Assistant Accountant on 4th floor, Club Chambers, Harare.
NOTE THAT CONTRACTORS OUTSIDE ZAMBIA/ZIMBABWE
SHOULD PROVIDE THEIR PHYSICAL ADDRESSES TO ENABLE THE AUTHORITY SEND THE
DOCUMENTS/APPENDICES VIA DHL.

AND DATA PROVISION
The public is advised that with effect from 1st January 2006,
the Zambezi River Authority will only provide data/information and
consultancy services at a fee. The fees will be calculated on the basis
of the time that Authority staff will spend in research, preparation,
compilation and submission of such data/information or services
provided. These fees will be advised and paid in advance of the
provision of the data/information or services.
The fees exclude information that may be obtained from the Authority’s
website or from any publication, which the Authority publishes on its
own accord. Data/information for personal use or for educational
purposes requested by nationals or government institutions of Zambia and Zimbabwe will be provided
free of charge.
